( What does this tell us about the process of invention and innovation)

Invention and innovation is moving so fast in progress and I believe we should update our self through technology. Invention and innovation sometimes technology is harmful! Yes it's true. In my opinion human being invention should have some harmful for us nobody can claim that all human being invention is perfect for example Television: it has bad effect to your eyes, some TV programs have negative effect for people and they are some cartoon have negative effect for children by seeing wild scenes and etc...

Anyway nowadays few people watching TV or maybe online TV. People most of the time using computer to connect to World Wide Web is most popular product nowadays.

According to article: Is good to see invention of new product that makes our life easy as I said computer is the most popular product in world. I think they are some issue that makes scientists to think of invent new product for us. One of issue is computer not portable for people to other place like office, school, trip and etc…so they invent laptop that is easily too portable for people

 

After years invention of laptop as we know people trends to “Smartphone and Tablet” according to Gartner report 6, 821 million Smartphone’s and tablets will be purchased by the end of the year!!! Showing that people looking for product that is easy useable and easy portable All companies having challenging to make good product to have better sell, actually is good us...people we going to have best product ever.

 

Guys all of these new products is to have an easy life...

Sir Ken Robinson Talks

Does school kill creativity?

I’m absolutely agree with Ken Robinson I think the only issue nowadays we all have is that we do not know in which career we are successful I would like to say my experience when I graduated from high school Its was really difficult for me to choose major in university because I did not have any adviser to advise me!!! I choose my major which was IT by myself because I like computer and software after one year being in this major I felt that I’m unsuccessful in this major by looking at result after I do research and got more advice from my friends I decided to come to multimedia now I feel more safe but I need more and more but,I need to work hard to achieve success in my career always I say to myself why I did not have good adviser since I was in school!!! In fact I waste my life for one year the major that I did not know more about it who can return it back to me?

I think not only me that I had this issue...(and I hope do not have it anymore in future)...there are so many students getting confuse after graduate from school they are unable to choose major in university.

We need revolution in education system in my opinion we should not force students for study or afraid them for exams the thing that we can do is give them chance to choose their major that they have more ability on it.

 In my experience student learning process more in school is practical not only theory because practical will storage in their mind and never forget it but theory they may forget after one few day.

Other important point that Ken Robinson noted having more qualification is not significant the only thing that people care is how  talent you are in your career there are some example about famous people with low education as know one of them it’s Steve Jobs. He did revolution in technology after he dropout although he found his way to success.its not all about certificate it's about how creativity you are...

Week 2(Assignment 1)

Give five words associated to 'Creativity'?

Hi people,this assignment really take time for me to write about creativity I try my best to write good explanation for Creativity.

  

1. Love: Do what you love. Jobs once said, "People with passion can change the world for the better." Asked about the advice he would offer would-be entrepreneurs, he said, "I'd get a job as a busboy or something until I figured out what I was really passionate about." That's how much it meant to him. What make person successful chooses a job that you love. Someone who loves his/her job can be really creative in his/her career.

2. Idea: As our lecturer Mr. Raszi Bedu said to get good idea mind map in the way that we can get brilliant idea. Mind Mapping is a useful technique that helps us to learn more effectively, improves the way that we record information, and supports and enhances creative problem solving and also find great idea. Sometimes good ideas just come into our heads. But more often, it takes effort. “You can’t sit and wait for a brilliant idea to come along, you’ve got to get your hands dirty,” said Veronica Lawlor(an instructor at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design), “Build up that discipline of action no matter what, and you open the window for creativity to fly through,”.

3. Believes: Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you and you never going to be creativity in your life. Always say to yourself you are great and I’m able to do better work than other to increase your confidence in near future.

4. Imagine: Improve your imagination. Do you agree that improving your imagination is a difficult professional skill? Remember your ability to imagine, to have fun with your thoughts and with the eye of your mind. Imagine yourself being successful before you start any process in your life because it’s make you to be open minded and clear thinking of  issue. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their imagination. Creativity comes when you improve your imagination in your life.

5. Visualization: visualization helps you use your natural creative imagination in a more conscious way to create a clear image, idea or feeling sense of what you really want. There is no real limit to what you can do with creative visualization practice. Mental imagery exercises can be used to improve your skill in sports, enhance job performance and develop better relationships.

Give five words that not associated to 'Creativity'?

Probably it is hard to find word to explain that is not associated to creativity but hopefully after this assignment I learned good explanation of creativity...Thanks to all lecturers of Creative Studies.

 

1. Cheating: I believe that creative person should be able to create and introduce his/her work with new idea, thought, and generation that nobody never and ever thought about it. The reason that why I wrote cheating because it’s totally against creativity. I think if a person really creative should not copy other word if you guys still remember what our lecturer Mr Yap Sau Bin said About karaoke that “Hey guys don’t be karaoke culture always try to be creative not copying from other “here also I need to say that there is also one of the way to get idea from looking to others work of design, art and etc to get best idea, by combining other idea and your own idea you may get good result.

2. Poverty: First of all let’s read meaning of poverty to know more about it. Poverty is the deprivation of food, shelter, money and clothing when the people cannot satisfy their basic needs. Do you think that the people who are in this situation can be creative or they are creativity? I do believe that hungry person who always looking for food not able to think even though research has shown. They got many and many problems to satisfy their basic needs so there is no moment to think about other issue.

3. Timid: Frightened to talk to people or to give his/her opinion, because he/she have very little confidence it’s the meaning of timid so basically Timid person who is shy to share his/her idea or afraid to talk to people and even didn’t say his opinion about other. I believe that there is no way to be creative and it’s absolutely not connecting to creativity. Creativity comes when you share your idea and disuses however issue in their mind and look for solution by getting other comments. Timid people won’t be creative in their life if they didn’t heed certain thing. They should change their personality to bold person who is saying what his/her thinking and making difficult decisions with other and even criticism if you find something that is not suitable for you actually our life is learning process to criticism each other to learn and get best outcome ever.

4. Wasteful: How much time do you waste in one day; week or month calculate them you will see how much time you waste in your life do nothing I’m talking about myself. There people who using their time useful to achieve upper level of studies and creative a new product for people to change their life in future. There is example that I’m sure all of us know about this person which is Thomas Edison 1,000 tries to invent the light bulb. In other words, he failed a whopping 999 times before he reached success. We should learn from Thomas Edison if want to be creative or invent something must work hard and don’t waste the time. This is the time God given to you so use it as much you can.

 5. Careless: Someone who is careless makes mistakes because they do not think carefully enough about what they are doing. Creative person should have high precision to look thing around and should have special accuracy to see the thing that normal people don’t have any attention to that piratical object.
